RESUME
Cette recherche analyse l’incidence de la qualité perçue du dispositif sanitaire sur l’intention d’adhésion volontaire des ivoiriens à la Couverture Maladie Universelle (CMU) dans la commune d’Abobo. A l’aide d’un questionnaire, 89 sujets sélectionnés via une technique d’échantillonnage hybride (combinant les techniques accidentelle et intentionnelle) ont été interrogés. Les résultats obtenus montrent que les populations ayant une perception défavorable du dispositif sanitaire ivoirien manifestent une faible intention d’adhésion à la CMU que leurs concitoyens ayant une perception favorable du dispositif. Au regard de ce résultat, cette étude souligne l’importance d’agir sur la qualité des soins, des équipements et aussi sur la formation des agents de santé afin de favoriser l’adhésion massive des populations au système de santé de la CMU.
ABSTRACT
This research analyzes the impact of the perceived quality of the healthcare system on the willingness of Ivorians to voluntarily join the Universal Health Coverage (CMU) in the Abobo district. Using a questionnaire, 89 subjects selected through a hybrid sampling technique (combining accidental and purposive methods) were surveyed. The results show that populations with an unfavorable perception of the Ivorian healthcare system exhibit a lower intention to join the CMU compared to their fellow citizens with a favorable perception of the system. In light of this result, this study emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of care, equipment, and also the training of healthcare personnel in order to encourage widespread participation in the CMU health system.
